The Scottie dog that sold gasoline in Depression-era Kansas is now on your coffee table. Dog-On Good Gasoline — a 1930s regional petroleum brand from The Petroleum Products Co. of Kansas — featured one of the most charming mascots in American petroliana history. This set of four square coasters brings that bold vintage graphic art straight to your home bar, man cave, garage, or kitchen counter.

Set of 4 square corkwood coasters with high-gloss MDF top and full-color print. Cork backing prevents sliding and protects surfaces. 3.75" x 3.75" square, 0.16" thick. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Sold as a complete set of four.

Dog-On Good Gasoline was produced by The Petroleum Products Co. of Kansas during the 1930s — the same company behind Tioga Gasoline out of Chanute, Kansas. The Scottie dog mascot was deliberate: FDR's Scottish Terrier Fala was the most famous dog in America during the Depression, and regional brands knew a good mascot when they saw one. The name itself — Dog-On Good — was a family-friendly stand-in for something stronger, the kind of wordplay that looked great on a sign and sounded even better at the pump.

The perfect gift for petroliana collectors, Kansas history enthusiasts, Scottie dog lovers, garage and man cave decorators, home bar enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates the golden age of American roadside advertising art.

The Faded Label Co. — keeping the golden age of American roadside art alive, one product at a time.
