National Refining Company dreamed up the name "White Rose" back in 1890, but the brand's real home became Canada. After the Canadian Oil Company went bankrupt in 1908, National bought its assets and reorganized as Canadian Oil Companies, Limited.
Sturdy T-bottom zip pouch that stands upright on its own. Available in Small and Large, with Black or White zipper. Vintage White Rose emblem printed front and center — great for a bag, desk, or bathroom counter.
The brand's original "Boy and Slate" logo ran for decades before a 1939 design competition replaced it with the actual White Rose flower. By the time Shell Canada bought the company in 1962, White Rose had been the country's last major domestically-owned petroleum brand.
The perfect gift for petroliana collectors with an eye for Canadian brands, classic car enthusiasts, and anyone who wants a genuinely useful everyday pouch with a real story behind it.
The Faded Label Co. — keeping the golden age of American roadside art alive, one product at a time.
